Commonly Asked Questions

You can find us at 11 Clonmel Street, Llandudno, LL30 2LE. If you're travelling along Mostyn Street, look out for Clogau Gold, we're just next door! If you're driving along the promenade, we're on the road just next to the Chatsworth Hotel.

We are pleased to say that we are one of the few dog friendly hotels in Llandudno. If you're booking into the hotel with your dog, please note that we do charge a £50 cash deposit on arrival - this will be refunded to you upon check out in most cases, deposits will not be returned if the dog fouls inside of the property, as it will require extra steps for our hard working staff to clean up, we hope you understand.

There is a cash machine located across the road from the hotel at Lloyd's Bank, though we are able to take deposits via card though this will incur a fee of £2.50 for taking dog deposits via card as we get charged for each transaction (initially taking the payment by card, then refunding when you check out).

There is also a £12 fee per night per dog for hotel bookings, but there is no charge or deposits if you just want to pop into the bar with your dog and have a drink (or two!).

Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator, nor do we have rooms on the ground level of the hotel, meaning that there are a fair number of stairs which may be too much for those with mobility issues or wheelchairs.  In these situations we can try to move you to a lower floor where possible, but this is dependent on room availability and the room you have booked.

When you are booking, ensure that you correctly specify how many adults and children are coming with you, as rooms are tailored to fit the number of guests specified in the booking. Double rooms are only suitable for two adults, and while we do have travel cots availble for those travelling with young children, we cannot put extra beds in rooms, so please ensure that the rooms you are booking specify the correct number of guests to avoid disappointment when checking in. Room upgrades may be available if you have extra guests travelling, though we need to know as soon as possible as our hotel is very popular and often full capacity, so to avoid any disappointment, call the hotel on 01492 471567 if anything in your booking needs to be changed.

For all bookings made directly with the hotel, and those made with our partners such as Booking.com, these bookings are room-only rates and do not include breakfast. By default we do not sell bed & breakfast packages, but rest assured that we do serve breakfast daily. The reason for us choosing to keep bookings as a room-only rate is to ensure that we can offer great prices to all of our guests, as we find not everyone who books with us wants breakfast.

Breakfast is served every morning from 9:00am in the ground floor restaurant at the hotel. You do not need to book or pre-order for breakfast, simply pop into the restaurant whenever and order what you like! We serve everything from our wonderful Full Welsh breakfast (it's a full English, with local Welsh ingredients!) to Scrambled Egg on Toast, Toasted Teacakes, Cereal or even just a Bacon or Sausage Sandwich if you're looking for something light.

We do also offer a vegetarian breakfast which includes vegetarian sausages.

The hotel does not have an on-site car park, we have only street parking available:

- CLONMEL STREET is the road directly outside the hotel and this has time restrictions. From 9:00am to 3:30pm, there is a 90 minute duration, after which your car will need to be moved to avoid getting a ticket. We do not advise parking on Clonmel Street before 3:30pm. If you park on Clonmel Street after 3:30pm, you are okay until 10:30am the following morning (Time restrictions begin at 9:00am, for 90 minutes, meaning your car is okay until before 10:30am).

- TRINITY SQUARE is a road tucked behind the Holy Trinity Church, which is just opposite the hotel. Parking along Trinity Square has no time restrictions and is ideal for guests who don't plan on using the car during your stay - feel free to leave it parked on Trinity Square as long as you need.

- HOLY TRINITY CHURCH also has a paid car park you can use, if you are unable to find street parking. Visit the car park for daily rates as these change periodically.
